Viz does not use explosives. We recreate explosions using compressed air or gas. This is far less dangerous than using explosives and can be done without a licence. It often means that we can work faster than others with explosives.

As part of the series of Telfort commercials we made a confetti explosion out of a briefcase.

We made these Pepsi Bottles explode for a Papsi Max commercial. PET bottles are extremely resilient so that we needed a very high pressure. Colleague Robert Pachowski decided to go with compressed nitrogen, which is supplied at an initial pressure of 200 atmosphere.
