Photographer Jimmy Nelson asked VIZ to make a set of triple oars for this shot. We went for advice to Jacques Klok at top rowing suppliers Concept2 who was very generous with the information we needed. In the end the team were able to physically row with the oars we made. This picture is part of a larger series for Philips which we worked on.
