Heavy rigging for Dunlop |
|
| |
VIZ helped Robert Pachowski on this unique project for advertising
agency 180 in Amsterdam. Producer Edson
Williams had contacted Robert to prepare the physical
rigging on this shoot with car and motorbike photographer
Oli Tennent from London.
It was decided after considerable research to shoot
each phase of a jump individually, and to put everything together
in the computer. Robert set about developing rigging which would
be strong enough to manipulate a motor-bike with rider. He would
have to provide yaw, roll, and height plus individual articulation
for steering wheel, wheel, and driver. |

By clicking on the images one can see the kind of rig we used, improvised but strong enough AND ready on time. We integrated a fork lift truck into the rig to be able to easily animate the bikes once they were in the air. |
