VIZ.NL makes a hole in a wall for Rabobank launch
Photographer Simon Warmer would have preferred to use a wallmade to scale with miniature bricks and a real hand. Due to time restraints we were obliged to go with a real scale wall, a reinforced hole and flying rubble. The production was ready with a day to spare.

Model for dissolving coffee shot
The bean on the left is made of unbonded coffee. It is made to easily dissolve when water is poured onto it. This was made for the product demo of a new product devised by Douwe Egberts.

Realistic penguin
This is the penguin we are making to perform in the film "Sterke Verhalen" by Kees van Nieuwkerk en Teddy Cherim. It is an animatronic hand puppet produced over a period of five weeks. It is made out of very flexible silicone rubber with jaw and wing mechanisms.

Guylian chocolate models
We made a
full
full set of Guylian chocolates, made by glazing directly
into the negative mould so as to retain their authentic
surface gloss, are water proof and heat resistant. They
are made out of polyurethane resins, cast in a silicona
mould. Intended for filming in a sea of milk, the models
were life size, (i.e. 2cm. high). Nevertheless the models
proved to be accurate enough for close-up photography...

We made a large perspex beer glass for the Trimbos Institute. This involved making a sturdy two part mould to form the warm perspex. The two halves had to match exactly, so that the 10 mm. thick halves could be seamlessly glued...

Part of the Philips campaign when we did the art-direction
for the photographers of BRANSCH New York. DDB, New York wanted indestructible small boxes for use with very young babies. On
the back of this model making job with Robert Pachowski Viz.nl took
on the set design and styling for many of the photos for the new "Sense
and Simplicity" campaign for Philips. |

Epica award

This "sculptural" image won the Epica-print award. It
was part of a campaign Ubachs Wisbrun for Campina butter. The photo,
made by Simon Warmer, shows a model butter curl made by Viz.nl.
